Sara, a native of Lima, Peru is Managing Director and Manufacturing Practice Leader at Marsh. Marsh is part of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC). Sara identifies exposures in the strategic, operations, finance and hazard areas to consult with new clients on possible solutions. Over her career with Marsh, Sara has received numerous awards for excellence in servicing clients and growing business on behalf of Marsh. In the last few years, she has distinguished herself for her consecutives awards as Top Performer. Sara is committed and passionate about working with clients, prospects, and Marsh colleagues. In addition to Marsh, MMC also owns Mercer, Oliver Wyman, Guy Carpenter and Kroll.
Sara is a member of The Chicago Network (TCN), The Economic Club of Chicago, the Chicago Finance Exchange (CFE) and The Executives' Club of Chicago. Sara has the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation, and the Commercial Insurance designation from the Insurance Institute of America. Sara holds Insurance Licenses for several states including Illinois. Sara is on the board of the Financial Executives' International (FEI). Sara is FEI's Vice President in charge of Membership.
Sara obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Economics from Mundelein College (now Loyola University). Sara holds a Master in Business Administration from Kellogg (Northwestern University) and a Master of Science in Financial Markets and Trading from Illinois Institute of Technology.
