2008 DINNER TOPICS/SPEAKERS

 

Regine concentrates her practice in the areas of multi-country cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including regulatory matters (e.g., merger control and foreign investment) and the implementation of multi-country corporate restructuring projects. Her cross-border practice includes the coordination and implementation of multi-country corporate transactions and restructurings outside the U.S. as well as counseling U.S. multinationals in connection with their international operations. In addition, Regine advises U.S. multinationals in connection with the corporate and foreign investment compliance and maintenance of their global corporate portfolio.

She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association where she serves on the Executive Board of the Alliance for Women Committee, as well as the American Bar Association, International Law Division. Regine also is a member of the Advisory Board of Women's Networking Community and is life-long Girl Scout belonging to the Honor Circle of Girls Scouts.

Regine was educated at the University of Bonn, the University of Hamburg and the University of the Pacific (McGeorge, LL.M.).
