Claudia is a Partner in the Chicago office of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services ("FAS"). She currently serves as the Midwest FAS HR and Operations Leader as well as National Director of the firm's Business Insurance Consulting practice. Claudia has over twenty-four years of experience in insurance claims accounting. She has spent her career performing analysis of financial and operating data necessary for the determination and verification of losses sustained due to property and casualty losses and other disruptions to businesses in a considerable range of industries. Types of engagements include: business interruption, extra expenses, inventory, physical damage, reconstruction projects, product recall and third party liability disputes. Claudia has assisted clients with the development of their damages related to many catastrophic situations, most recent those caused by 9/11 and Hurricanes Katrina & Rita. Claudia has also gained experience in litigation through expert witness testimony on subrogation, motive for arson and other insurance related issues in State and Federal court throughout the country.
In addition, Claudia is the Midwest WIN Leader. In this role, Claudia is responsible for creating, executing and continuing programs dedicated to mentoring, career development and career path flexibility for women at all levels with the Midwest region. Claudia also focuses on external market opportunities to meet with clients to discuss our respective women's initiatives and leverage relationships.
Claudia is a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
