Denise is chief financial officer of Health Care Service Corporation and responsible for financial reporting, budgets, cost accounting, tax, receivables, disbursements, underwriting, real estate, facilities, travel, administrative services, and procurement.
Denise has held a number of leadership positions since joining Health Care Service Corporation in 1976. Before joining the corporation she was an auditor for Ernst & Young.
Denise received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. She is a certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the American Society of Women CPAs, and the Chicago Finance Exchange.
