  Barbara Banks Pryor

Barbara is a Senior-level IT manager and information technology professional with over 20 years of diverse experience as a results oriented executive and practitioner with extensive business management and execution experience in the utility, public sector, healthcare professional services and financial industry. During her career she has worked to align technology initiatives with business goals and objectives to solve business problems while managing costs and risk. She also has the proven ability to lead, manage, design, and implement IT business solutions that support new applications, processes, across all lines of business.

Barbara has worked in several capacities from consulting, sales, business owner to senior executive. As the CIO for a large housing authority, Barbara worked to streamline internal business processes, execute and delivery high cost/risk technology initiatives, reduce TCO and increase efficiencies across the organization. Barbara also spent several years providing consulting services for both Pricewaterhouse & Deloitte. She is a Governing Member of CIO Executive Summit, a Member of Women in Technology WIT, Advisory Council Member - Chicago CIO Forum and Executive Technology Council, Former Member City of Chicago Council of CIO's.

Barbara received her undergraduate education from the University of Illinois Champaign, Urbana.
