Desiree Rogers

Desiree Rogers was elected President of Peoples Energy Corporation’s two utility subsidiaries, Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas in July 2004. Desiree is directly responsible for the utilities field operations, customer service functions and gas management. She also serves as a Senior Vice President of Peoples Energy Corporation. Before joining Peoples Energy, Desiree was the Director of the Illinois State Lottery.

Desiree is active in many civic organizations and serves as Vice-Chairman of the Lincoln Park Zoo, is on the executive committee of the Museum of Science and Industry, The Executives’ Club of Chicago and the Chicago Network. She also sits on the Northwestern Memorial Foundation Board, and serves on the corporate boards of Equity Residential and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.

Desiree received her bachelor’s degree in political science at Wellesley College and her master’s degree at Harvard Business School. She also recently completed the Women in Power Program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
